About Us

I started Harvest Soap Company in 2020 after leaving my career in the insurance industry to be a stay-at-home mom. Being a mother is incredibly rewarding, but I found myself needing an outlet for my creativity. I stumbled upon some cold process soap making videos on YouTube and once I started down the rabbit-hole of soapmaking, I knew there was no turning back. Since then, Harvest Soap Company has grown from just a few different soaps to new soap collections each month and now includes other bath and beauty products like whipped body butters, lip balms, and candles!

I am still mostly a one-woman business, but my husband plays a pivotal role in the success of Harvest Soap Company and is constantly improving areas of the business I am not so skilled at. I would much rather be making soap or creating a new product than trying to figure out the best way to layout the website.

 Each product is thoroughly researched, formulated, and tested by me (with some additional testing done by eager family and friends) to ensure the highest quality products and great designs. All our products are handmade in small batches in Huron, South Dakota with high quality, purposeful ingredients you can easily recognize.

I absolutely love designing new soaps every month and am also always working on new ideas and new products.
